This piece was purchased by Ms. Zhang, who also ordered a pair of 6 cts + 6 cts Pigeon Blood Ruby earrings. It was completed and delivered to her Texas residence in 2020.
The center stone of the ring is a 7.03 cts Pigeon Blood Ruby from Mozambique, accompanied with a GRS certificate stating that the stone is of Vivid Red in color and the orgin of the stone is Mozambique and it has not been heat treated. Typically, rubies are heat treated. Therefore, unheated PB rubies of large carat weight and exceptional transparency are extremely scarce. This stone exudes remarkable fire and brilliance, is one of Mr. Xu favorite rubies he has dealt with over 5 carat by far, according to him.
The client stressed over and over she wanted a 3D silhouette, so Mr. Xu especially made sure the profile of the ring is 3 dimensional.
And all the diamonds on the piece are of D and E in color, VVS in clarity. They look exceptionally sparkly.
