Pink Spinel Ring by Luke Xu

The center stone of the ring is a 7.96 cts Pink Spinel with remarkable luster and brilliance. Mr. Xu came across this exceptional gem in a Los Angeles gem dealer's office. He couldn't take his eyes off this beauty. Even 7 years later, he still vivldly remebers its strong presence. He was inspired by the famous Blue Sapphire ring Princess Diana had received from Prince Charles for engagement and decided to create a similiar piece featuring this beautiful gem.
This is one of Mr. Xu's earlier works, it dates back to February 2017, when it was completed.

The setting was handcrafted in Platinum and set with 14 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.1 cts in total, ranging in D-F in color, VS-VVS in clarity.
As you may see from this photo taken with his phone, back in 2017, the whole piece scintillates like a disco ball...
It was later collected by a good friend of Mr. Xu's, living in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
