Mrs. Wong from Texas has purchased consistently over the years from the brand. She is in fact Mr. Xu's biggest and single most important collector to date.
In 2020, she expressed to him she would like to acquire an Emerald Necklace and an Emerald ring. Several stones were presented for her consideration but this over 11 cts Columbian Emerald stone with No OIl was highly recommended for its rarity and beauty. At the time, Mrs. Wong couldn't inspect the stone due to the ravaging Covid pandemic. Mr. Xu was in China and Mrs. Wong was in the US. But Mrs. Wong entrusted him to make the decison for her.
Knowing how much Mrs. Wong trusted him, Mr. Xu made sure the decison was carried out in her best interest. When it comes to enhancement for emeralds, it is commonly accepted in the trade to use oil or other substances to improve the appearances and clarity of the stones as emeralds are typically included and fractured.
However, this stone is exceptionlly large and fine in quality and has reports issued by two of the most respected Gem Labs in the world, namely Gubelin and SSEF. They both stated in their findings that this stone is free from enhancement and is of Columbian origin.

Though Mr. Xu knew it was a beautiful and valuable stone, he was a little concerned whether Mrs. Wong would actually like it when she actually saw the ring. He was overthinking it. Mrs. Wong was overjoyed and extremely satisfied with the center stone and the ring as a whole.
